by aIRI Nishijin #306

Airi’s Nishijin Collection are twinkling metallic foils that are made from plant-based Japanese paper. The name comes from “Nishijin Haku”, which refers to the Japanese paper used for a sash in the Nishijin region of Kyoto, Japan. Exact color and pattern will vary because each sheet was individually handcrafted, no two sheets are identical.

Dimensions: 3 x 2.5 in

Nishijin Haku is characterized by the white washi paper base that has a textured feel, giving it a luxurious, silk-like feel.

A small white tenmoku is placed on top of gold and silver washi paper, giving it an attractive beauty that resembles a snowy landscape.
